Basin and Range Ring

West Texas stone set in aged copper.

The Basin and Range Province covers much of the inland Western United States, including the Big Bend Region of Texas where this stone originated. The unique stone features a distinct divide between creamy white and dark burgundy reminding us of basin and range topography, which is characterized by abrupt changes in elevation, alternating between faulted mountains and flat basins.
