Rio Grande Ring

The Rio Grande Ring is red jasper stone set in brass.

Red jasper is widely found among the gravels of the Rio Grande and throughout the Big Bend region, shaped and carried by water from the surrounding mountains and desert washes.

Its rich shades of brick red, rust, and deep brown-red come from iron within the stone, often accented by natural black, gray, and quartz inclusions. No two pieces are quite alike.
