Banded Jasper is found in the Big Bend region of Texas. Iron oxides, including hematite and goethite, create its rich red, burnt orange, yellow, and rust-colored bands. These flowing layers formed over millions of years as silica-rich fluids and minerals infiltrated volcanic ash and sediments.
